Trick Dog training is an incredibly rewarding experience for both you and your pup. It is a great way to build the strong bond between you and your dog, and also a great way to teach valuable skills enabling them to become better behaved and socialized. 

When training tricks, start off small and gradually increase the difficulty of the trick as your pup learns. Remember to reward with treats and lots of verbal praise when completing a trick. To begin, try teaching basic obedience cues such as “Sit”, “Stay”, and “Come”. Once your pup is able to consistently follow these cues, you can move on to tricks. 

Try teaching “Speak”, “Jump Through a Hoop”, “Sit Pretty”, and “Shake a Paw”. With patience and practice, your pup will learn these tricks in no time. Tricks are a SUPER GREAT way to keep your pup engaged and entertained, as well as providing mental stimulation. It is important to always end your training sessions on a positive note, and to never punish if unable to perform a trick. 

With consistency and a good attitude, you and your pup will do amazing tricks in no time!
